   Peggy Hinaekian
The Swiss artist Peggy Hinaekian, of Armenian origin, is pursuing her incredible career across the world, accumulating the exhibitions, at present mainly in the United States.

In a part of her works, the wide desert fields subtlety orange shaded for which the artist has the talent and the secret, are still burning and flooded with sun and heath. The material is incandescent. The grains of sand seem sometimes so close at hand that they could be reachable and caught; in other situations, blown by the wind towards the horizon, they create small dunes. The artist plays with these elements. The line of horizon situated at various levels in function of the works, is sometimes close to the spectator, leaving to the work a huge red and infinite sky; or to the contrary, the horizon line is far away from the eye, as to better take the measure of the wideness of the desert, which is spreading out lazily and immutably.
These desert fields draw immediately the attention because of their rich textures enhanced with a few blue touches, inscribed into the monochrome, like spots of water and freshness.
To the opposite, in a series of works with a predominance of blue, fields of light and shimmering oceanic waters, with reflections and mysterious transparencies, are inciting the imaginary. With a few touches of red, a few signs and spots of white or black, they evoke the world living under the surface of water or in the marine depths, the richness of the fauna and the seaweeds, either at daybreak with the first rays of dawn, or undergoing the effects of the roaring thunder on the coasts swept away by the winds.

Energy and dynamism mark the powerful and original works of Hinaekian, characteristic of the know-how of the multiple faceted artist who is also engraver, drawer and writer. Her latest novel entitled Of Julia and Men illustrated by Hinaekian will be presented during the exhibition, together with some of the engravings created for this purpose.

Peggy Hinaekian lives and works in the United States – California and Florida – and in Switzerland. Graduated from the Fine Arts School “Leonardo da Vinci” in Rome, she studies art history at the Mc Gill University of Montreal before attending the Fine Arts School in Paris.
The works of Hinaekian are present in numerous public and private collections, namely in Swiss financial establishments. She exhibits extensively in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, Norway, Canada, Kuweit, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong and in the United States.
